The Gorgonpsid (perhaps the genus Gorgonops) is a synapsid that lived on earth in the late Permian. It is about the size of a black bear.
The Great Dying
A Gorgonpsid is seen hunting some Lystrosaurus. The Gorgonpsid is later seen trying to escape the Siberian traps. One is hunted by a Proterosuchus. The Gorgonpsid later went extinct from the extinction.
Trivia
The Gorgonpsid and Lystrosaurus battle is the only fight in the series with blood in it. It also splattered on the camera as well.
